The Covid-19 pandemic has numbed the fundraising plans of many mission-driven organizations. Some had the inspiration to pivot early on and developed innovative and creative strategies that helped them stand out and raise more money than their previous fundraising efforts. Others simply decided to cancel or put on hold their fundraising plans and it took them a while to rethink and reshape their strategies. Regardless of the plans adopted, both groups have one aspect in common: online fundraising. Whether they used Zoom to engage with current or prospective donors, social media tools or one of the more traditional online crowdfunding platforms like indigogo, kickstarter or gofundme, developing a relevant and well-planned online presence and hence a strategy has been key to their success.
This webinar provides a series of practical tools that mission-driven organizations should consider as they develop, plan and implement online fundraising strategies. While this conversation is a useful tool for any fundraising efforts, we will prioritize crowdfunding on platforms like Facebook, gofundme, indigogo etc. The participants will have access to templates, planning documents, implementation plans etc.
