GANAS services the special needs community by educating parents, siblings, professionals, and eventually the individual, to increase equitable opportunities and improve their quality of life.
PERSONAL BIO

Martha Barragan is the o-founder and Executive Director of GANAS. Mrs. Barragan was born, raised, and currently lives with her husband and three children in the rural and underserved Eastern Coachella Valley. She has been an active member of her community since grade school when she assisted in the local food drive and has continued to be involved. Martha sits as Vice President of another nonprofit organization that serves the Eastern Coachella Valley.
She has a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Applied Behavior. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), which is used to support many children and young adults with developmental disabilities, such as autism, and train many parents to manage and teach new behaviors. Two of Martha’s children have special needs.
