Xochitl Alejo

7 Lucky Farms

Xochitl Alejo is a first-generation immigrant behind 7 Lucky Farms, an alliance built on the idea that small-scale growers can retain their independence while gaining real collective strength. The group came together to pool their knowledge, share resources, and open doors to land, distribution, and partnerships that no single micro farm could reach alone. For Xochitl, farming is inherited work that carries the traditions of parents and grandparents from places far from the Inland Empire, and her micro farm is as much a space for reconnecting with heritage and family as it is for growing food. She is working to secure a future where immigrant farmers own the land they work on and the next generation never has to start from scratch.
