PERSONAL BIO
Lynn Summers is the founder of Summersprep and a Master Gardener with over 30 years in Emergency Medical Service.
As a firm believer in sustainable gardening and food preservation, Lynn aims to address food insecurity and injustice, especially in food desert areas, by teaching people how to grow, store and preserve their own food. She is actively involved with community gardens in her native San Bernardino region in California where she is teaching free classes with a focus on food preservation concepts and techniques. She has also been the initiator of a gardening and food preservation initiative for young girls in partnership with the San Bernardino Public Library and the American Girl.
