Young American Scholars is a youth service organization assisting young males 14-18 through in-school and on-site programs that encourage and promotes their academic achievement and growth.

PERSONAL BIO

Arlington C. Rodgers Jr. is a retired US Army veteran and has worked in the public sector for over 25 years. He has served as a youth mentor through other organizations for over 15 years. He is passionate about helping young men navigate through life’s circumstances and used his lived experience to developed a program designed for young men between the ages of 14-18 that invokes academic achievement by engaging them on campus and exposing them to skills and opportunities that will enable them to be successful beyond high school. Currently he serves in a senior management position for the City of San Bernardino.

He graduated with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Cal Baptist University. Currently, Mr. Rodgers is a doctoral student.
