PERSONAL BIO
Dr. Gina Carol Marie Oliver is the Co-Owner and Principal Investigator of From The Land LLC, along with Dr. Richard Hutchison. Since 2019. she has served as an Adjunct Instructor at San Bernardino Valley College (SBVC) teaching Oceanography. Previously, she was a doctoral researcher at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2014-2019.
Dr. Oliver earned an AA degree in Philosophy/Religious Studies from Chaffey College, Rancho Cucamonga, CA in 2010, a B.S.in Geological Sciences from CSU, Long Beach, CA in 2014, and a Ph.D. in Geology/Geomicrobiology from Rensselaer Poly. Inst. Troy, NY in 2019. She have completed internships with a USDA funded program, UNAVCO/RESESS, and at CSULB.
Dr. Oliver is a California Dream Fund awardee and a recipient of the USDA, NIFA SBIR Phase I grant (2020- present) National Science Foundation to develop the From the Farm and Graduate Research Fellowship Program (2015-2019).
