Isabel Torres

Ives Torres Foundation provides information to develop parents’ skills and knowledge for strong advocacy for themselves and loved ones with disabilities, community collaboration, recreational and art-centered events.

Mrs. Isabel Torres is Co-founder and CEO of Ives Torres Foundation and the founder and director of Padres con Poder which provides support to parents of children with special needs of the inland Empire. Isabel has served as President and Board member of Binational Parent Leadership Institute (BPLI). She has been involved in different leadership roles in organizations such as the Autism Society Inland Empire, Cesar Chavez Academy, DELAC for Corona-Norco School District. Currently, she is a Parent Facilitator for CABE and Education Resource Specialist for EPU Children Center, the Association of Down Syndrome in Orange County (DSAOC). She served as Spanish director program for Down Syndrome Association of Riverside (DSARCW).

Mrs. Torres obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering at Instituto Tecnologico of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Mother of three children Carla, Ares, and Ives, who is diagnosed with Down syndrome and inspiration to help others.
