Small business owners and entrepreneurs, for-profit and nonprofit alike, are always seeking new opportunities or strategies to adapt their ventures to the constantly changing and challenging environment. To be able to pivot rapidly but still stay true to their goals, all entrepreneurs must fully understand some key aspects at the core of their ventures: their value proposition and the right business model.  

This information-packed session focuses on providing practical tools to navigate these processes as part of a comprehensive and complex journey to build financially sustainable businesses.

Speaker

Carolina Angelica Rosas Saavedra, Caravan SBDC director

Carolina joined Caravanserai Project in 2022. She is a Molecular Biotechnology Engineer, startup mentor and tech advisor with a master in Biological Sciences from the University of Chile. Carolina is a panel reviewer for the Chilean National Agency for Research and Development and a former Innovation and Entrepreneurship Specialist at Andes Pacific Technology Access in Chile, where she mentored entrepreneurs and connected with several tech-based companies across the country.

She is the founder of Vitrotech SpA, a start-up company focused on consulting services for tech-based businesses. Carolina is also a co-founder of Klein Biotecnología Ltda, a Chilean biotechnology startup. Prior to joining Caravanserai Project, Carolina served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at University of California Riverside.
