Kristen Caloca, Vice President, Cause communications

Kristen Caloca is a seasoned social impact communications leader and strategist with more than two decades of experience working on society’s most pressing issues. She co-leads programs and strategic partnerships at Cause Communications, a woman and LGBTQ-led nonprofit that uses the power of communications to advance issues and causes for positive social change. 

Kristen’s expertise spans public affairs, media relations, crisis communications, messaging, strategic communications planning, capacity building, and public relations. For more than two decades, she has counseled executives in for profit, nonprofit, and government sectors across the U.S. on using communications as strategy to drive impact at the organizational level. She carries additional expertise in issue areas including family and child welfare, domestic violence, health equity, mental health, faith-based initiatives, and energy and the environment.

She divides her time between offices in the Inland Empire and Los Angeles at the California Endowment’s Center for Healthy Communities.
